ParkN Shop, Wellcome, mainland China Resources Purchasing Company (CRC), and to a lesser extent, Kittie and Kettie Supermarkets (KK), have hardened themselves in prime locations, and sometimes enjoy restricted access to housing estates. These factors, as well as scale and oscilloscope economies of at least the big firms, allow them to enforce acrimonious terms on suppliers.
