1. False Memory: In the ending scene, Lenny writes down teddys permit plate number. He does this because he knows that he will forget later and think that Teddy is the psyche who murdered his wife. By doing this, he creates a false memory. A false memory is a memory for an event that neer happened, but was suggested by someone or something. When Lenny made a memory of retrieveing out the killers license plate, he made himself call up a false memory. He knew that later he would have no recollection of it and believe what he had written down. This created a false memory.
2. Anterograde blackout: Throughout the movie, Lenny suffers from anterograde amnesia. When his wife was murdered, he was hit oer the head, cause his current state. Lenny struggles with concocting. An example of this is when Natalie leaves her house and Lenny is rushing to find a pen to write down what had just occurred. However, he didnt find one in time and when Natalie walked cover in, he had forgotten. This illness he has, anterograde amnesia, is the inability to remember events and experiences that occur after an stain or the onset of a disease. Lenny, after the accident, couldnt make any new memories.

3. Schemas: During flashback scenes, Lenny recalled his experience with a man named Sammy. Sammy was in a car accident and suffered an injury causing him to get anterograde amnesia.
