My Life through and through Eriksons Psychosocial Theory

Life is a serious of lessons and challenges, which help us to grow. Eriksons wonderful theory helps to tell us why and expands in what most of us go through in various stages of our lives. My life is no exception, although unique for being mine; Eriksons theory clearly represents the stages I have been through in my short twenty-five years of age. Eriksons model of psychosocial development is a very significant, highly regarded and meaningful concept that portraits to all of us. Erikson believed that his psychosocial ruler is genetically inevitable in shaping human beings development. It occurs in all people.

Erik Erikson first published his viii-stage theory of human development in his 1950 book Childhood and Society. The chapter featuring the model was coroneted The Eight Ages of Man. He expanded and refined his theory in later books and revisions, notably. Various terms ar used to account Eriksons model, for example Eriksons biopsychosocial or bio-psycho-social theory;Eriksons human development wheel around or life cycle, and variations of these. All refer to the same viii stages psychosocial theory, it being Eriksons most distinct work and remarkable model.
